“Indrudu Chandrudu” is the second straight dual role film for Kamal Hassan in Telugu after “Sommokadidhi Sookokadidhi”. His histrionics as Mayor G.K.Rayudu still linger on my mind and so do songs like “Doora Doora Donga“, “Saayankaalapu Sarigamaloo” and mesmerizing”Nacchina Fuddu, vecchani beddu” . Nagesh, as usual, was outstanding in the film (“Raayudu..nuvvu rasikudavani thelusu….kaani, mari intha…”)! With “Indrudu Chandrudu”, Ramanaidu joined the select club of producers who made films with both Rajnikanth (“Tanikattu Raaja“) and Kamal. Kamal also won the Best Actor award from the Govt of AP (second one I guess).
