“Agniparvatham” was released in two theatres–Viswashanthi and Ambika-in Eluru. Here is a proof which shows that the film had a two weeks run in the second theatre. Though Usha Pictures (super loyalists of N.T.R.) , the distributors of the film for West, did not disclose the collections, we can assess the films revenues by looking at the collections of “Mahaasangraamam“, which created a town record within three weeks of its release in the same theatre. Speaking of Usha Pictures reminds me of the theatre record ad they gave for Chiranjeevi’s “Intiguttu“, which collected Rs 57,112/- at Panduranga Theatre, Eluru in Sep 1984.
